New publisher, new office, new strategy:
Uta Grosenick has installed the new publishing headquarters of Edition Cantz in Berlin.
In the midst of artists’ studios, galleries, and museums, she will establish Edition Cantz as a permanent fixture among national and international art book publishers. At home in the art scene for years, Uta Grosenick brings her long experience in bookmaking and the programmatic orientation of art book publishers to Edition Cantz. She worked as an exhibition organizer and curator at renowned art museums in Germany before dedicating herself entirely to the conception and production of art books and catalogues. Between 1999 and 2006, she published numerous survey volumes and monographs on contemporary art at Taschen Verlag and in 2006 became Program Director for Art at DuMont. In 2010, she co-founded Distanz Verlag, where she worked as a publisher until the summer of 2019.
Since September, she has served as publisher and partner of Edition Cantz in Berlin.
